Know which units are ready before guests arrive

The dashboard shows how many of today’s units are ready, what state the rest are in and how long is left until check-in. Where a cleaning type requires a check, a unit is guest-ready only once the supervisor has approved it.

Reception sees readiness without calling

At the top of the Today dashboard, the readiness bar shows how many of today’s units are done: arrivals guest-ready, other units cleaned. It also shows what state the others are in and how long is left until check-in. One click narrows the plan to a status or to the units with a problem.

The bar warns as soon as a cleaning is late to start. When a unit can no longer be ready by check-in, it is marked as an arrival at risk.

  • The plan below lists every unit with work today in one table, with problems at the top: blocked, an arrival with no cleaning, no team, a late start or a finish after the guests arrive.
  • Each unit shows its arrival, departure or turnover, its category and zone, and one action.

The supervisor approves the unit

Today’s inspections on the supervisor’s phone lists the units awaiting a check, the cleanings still scheduled for today and the units confirmed today. The supervisor starts the inspection, then confirms the unit as guest-ready.

If something is not right, the supervisor sends the cleaning back for rework and writes what needs fixing. The cleaner sees the reason on their phone. An administrator can also confirm an inspection or send a cleaning back.

Inspection zones

A supervisor can be given priority zones. Inspections in those zones come first on their list and they are notified when a cleaning there is waiting for approval. They still see and confirm all the others.

Units that no supervisor covers go to all supervisors. Like other staff, a supervisor can also be limited to certain locations and properties.

What inspections show over time

Camppy records every step of a cleaning: start, hand-over, inspection, rework and blocking. Reports for a chosen period show how well units were ready and how inspections went.

  • Arrival readiness: how many units with a cleaning on arrival day were ready by check-in, by day of the week, with the likely cause of each delay.
  • Inspection quality: the share of cleanings that passed first time, rework by team and by week, and units sent back more than once.
Questions

About readiness and inspections

Does every unit have to be inspected?

No. You switch inspection on per cleaning type. Where it is on, the unit is guest-ready only after a supervisor or an administrator confirms it.

We have no supervisor. Can we still use inspections?

Yes. The supervisor role is switched on per campsite, and an administrator can confirm inspections too. Cleaning types that do not require a check finish without one.

How does reception know a unit is ready?

The Today dashboard shows how many units are ready for today’s arrivals, and each unit in the plan carries its status, such as Awaiting cleaning, Cleaning in progress, Awaiting check or Guest-ready.
