2. Overview
Camppy provides software that helps camps, glamping resorts, and hospitality operators manage bookings, cleaning, inspections, and daily operations. This policy applies to information collected through camppy.io and the Camppy application.
By using our website or services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
3. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account details such as your name, email address, company name, and login credentials.
- Operational data you choose to upload or sync, including property, unit, booking, task, staff, and guest stay information.
- Communication data when you contact us or send support questions.
- Technical and usage data such as browser type, device information, pages visited, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve Camppy.
- Set up accounts, authenticate users, and manage access controls.
- Process requested workflows such as booking imports, cleaning tasks, inspections, and internal notifications.
- Respond to support requests and product feedback.
- Monitor system performance, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Google Data and Connected Services
If you sign in with Google or connect a Google service, we only access the information and permissions you explicitly authorize. This may include basic account identity data such as your name, email address, profile image, and account identifier.
Google user data is used only to provide the requested authentication or product functionality. Camppy does not sell Google user data and does not use it for advertising.
If you connect other third-party tools such as booking channels or operational systems, information received from those services is handled according to this Privacy Policy and the permissions you grant.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us host, support, secure, and operate the platform.
- Third-party integrations that you choose to connect and authorize.
- Legal or regulatory authorities when disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale involving Camppy.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, fulfill legitimate business purposes, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
When data is no longer required, we delete it or anonymize it within a commercially reasonable timeframe.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access, correction, export, deletion, or restriction of certain personal data. You may also be able to object to certain processing activities.

10. Children's Privacy
Camppy is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
11. Cookies and Analytics
The camppy.io website sets no cookies of its own. The only cookies it can place are those of Google Analytics, and only after you allow them in the cookie bar. If you decline, or simply leave the question unanswered, the analytics script is never loaded and no analytics cookie is written.
If you allow it, Google Analytics stores identifiers named _ga and _ga_ followed by a stream id, which remain in your browser for up to two years. It records which pages you open, the approximate region you open them from, and which browser and device you use. We read it only to see which parts of the site are worth keeping. We do not use it for advertising, we do not enable Google advertising features, and we do not link it to anything you send us through the demo form.
You can change your answer at any time through the “Cookies” switch in the site footer. Declining also deletes the analytics cookies already stored in your browser and stops the measurement immediately, without reloading the page. Browser tracking protection or a content blocker will stop the script just as effectively.
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited, which may process the collected data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in Google’s own privacy documentation.
The site also counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser, so no consent is requested for it. For each page you open it records the page address, the page you came from, your country, and the type of browser and device. A visitor is recognised by a hash derived from the IP address and browser that is valid for one day, after which it can no longer be linked to anyone; the IP address itself is not stored. The service is provided by Vercel Inc. (USA), which also hosts this site, under the data transfer safeguards described in Vercel’s own privacy documentation.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and post the revised version here.
