Owner campsites

A campsite where the mobile homes have owners

You clean and look after mobile homes that belong to other people. Camppy keeps the owners and their units in the same place as cleaning, so fewer bookings and gas requests arrive by phone and message.

Every owner has their units, every unit its zone

A unit is a mobile home or pitch that you rent out and clean. An owner’s units sit under their property, and the zone says which part of the campsite they are in, so the team that works that part gets the work there first.

A unit can have one owner or several. Each of them signs in separately and sees only their own units, never anyone else’s.

What owners used to phone in, they enter themselves

In the owner portal, an owner enters and edits bookings for their unit, their own stays and blocked dates. Bookings that arrive from an iCal calendar they can confirm, but not move to other dates. Following your rules, Camppy creates the cleanings from those bookings like any others.

The back-and-forth moves into Camppy, and your office sees it in the same place as cleaning.

  • An empty gas bottle is reported from the portal, and the owner is notified when it is delivered.
  • An owner can request a linen change for a chosen date.
  • The cleaning history of their units is visible to them, with type and date.

A statement built from the work that was done

Each owner sees a statement month by month: guest nights and the cost of cleaning, extras, gas, maintenance and services. Owner stays and blocked dates are not counted as billable guest nights.

The statement is calculated the same way as the owner statements in your reports, so what the owner sees matches what you bill from. It is not an invoice: the official invoice still comes from the campsite.

The campsite keeps the schedule

Cleaning runs as in any campsite: the day on one board by team, each cleaner’s cleanings on their phone, and a check by the supervisor where the cleaning type requires it.

Prices of cleaning, tasks, extras and gas are seen by administrators and by the owner on their own statement. The staff who do or check the work do not see them.

Turnover Departure Arrival Problem

The “Cleaning Schedule” screen for Monday, September 7: four teams in lanes from 07:00 to 18:00, a check-out line at 10:00 and a check-in line at 15:00, and a blue current-time line at 12:35. Unit cards carry the booking situation and a status: guest-ready, awaiting check, done, cleaning in progress or awaiting cleaning. The bottom lane, “Unassigned”, holds one cleaning still waiting for a team.

Camppy creates the cleanings from your bookings. The manager then reviews the day, assigns work to teams and sees whether every unit can be ready between check-out and check-in.

Questions

About campsites with owners

Does every owner have to use the portal?

No. The owner portal is an add-on to the Camppy package. Without it, your office enters bookings and owner stays.

Can an owner see other owners’ units?

No. An owner sees only their own units, bookings and statement. If a unit has several owners, each has their own login and sees only what is theirs.

Who reports an empty gas bottle?

The owner for their unit, the manager or supervisor, or whoever looks after gas in the campsite. The delivery stays on record in the unit’s history and appears on the owner’s statement.
